About the project.

Rimba Raya, situated in Central Kalimantan on the island of Borneo in Indonesia, ranks among the world’s largest REDD+ peat swamp forest initiatives. It plays a crucial role in preventing nearly 130 million tonnes of carbon emissions. The project issues carbon credits derived from High Conservation Value (HCV) peat swamp forests within its designated carbon accounting zone. In addition to its environmental impact, Rimba Raya actively supports local communities through comprehensive livelihood programs that align with all 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, fostering education, employment, and long-term hope for surrounding villages

Let’s limit global warming. Together.
